A large reptile in the Crocodilia order in the genus Alligator of the family Alligatoridae.
The year is 502,050. It is the salted era. The Earth’s temperature has risen by 7°C, and the sea level has risen by 12 meters.
Many plant and animal species have gone extinct, but the alligators’ high adaptability has helped them survive through all of history. They are amphibians and competent hunters with good camouflage and temperature regulation abilities.
The rising water level has made the alligators into better swimmers, and they are now able to swim between the few remaining islands.
As the days are now dangerously hot, the alligators have become nocturnal. Life in the new world is not easy. The alligator’s biggest enemy is climate, and its greatest challenge is finding food.
